The history of the Blooms Group can be traced back to the 1980s when a small number of Pharmacists (among them the current chairman of the Company) created a pharmacy buying group to increase their buying power.

The Blooms Group was established in 1988 to provide operational support to these pharmacies. The Company was converted to a public company in September 2017.
